Hiking, climbing and recreation in nature - or sightseeing:

Magura lays in the center and crossing point of a board of three different landscapes, in an almost infinitely large natural area.
To the north, extending right from the neighboring village of Zărneşti, to Braşov and another 20 km farther, you find a completely flat plain level.
In north-west to Sibiu and far beyond there is a low mountain range, which actually represents the typical Transylvania.
On the other side, ie in a southeasterly direction, the Bucegi mountains over 2,500 meters high, with snow-capped peaks, almost within reach.
And just to the west of Magura begins the Piatra Craiului mountain range, which is about 2,200 m high. This "King Stone" called mountain range is not only close to touch, you can really walk up there directly from the guest-house Villa Hermani.
These three completely different, but directly adjacent landscapes invite you to walking, hiking, mountain hiking, climbing or cycling for all age groups and in all degrees of difficulty.
Many excursions, tours or walkings in the surroundings can have such interesting destinations as "Dracula's castle" in Bran, old fortified churches, public swimming pools, a large cave with bats, mountain inns, climbing rocks, wolf and bear enclosure, bears in the wild, gorges, springs, several mountain cable cars etc. So you will have no trouble motivating your kids and give them a rewarding destination offer.
As an added incentive, there are many walking tours that offer the possibility of combining walking and driving by open horse-drawn carriage or by car. That means, walk to the destination on foot, and return without physical strain.
And if the weather does not cooperate or if you want no more nature, you can access and visit Bran castle or the city of Braşov and other cities directly by car.
The guesthouse Villa Hermani and CNTOURS offer you for all tours and excursions multilingual guides who are familiar with the place and nature.
